Since joining the games industry in 2010, Morgan has developed wide and deep experience ranging from managing research teams performing usability tests, user experience studies, and expert analysis for Player Research, to personally leading long-term iterative playtests with hundreds of players on four consecutive releases of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise: Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. He has spoken at conferences such as CHI Play, MIGS, NYU’s Practice, and for the IGDA Kansai on a wide range of game and user research topics. A former JSPS Summer Fellow at Ritsumeikan University’s Center for Game Studies in Kyoto and a member of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, he is still playing Phantom Dust.
